Scope and Purpose
Bj7 provides a Self-Exclusion service to support players who believe their gambling activity may be harmful. This policy governs the suspension or restriction of access to Bj7 services for a defined period across all Bj7 products.
Definitions
Self-Exclusion means a voluntary suspension or restriction of access to Bj7 services for a specified duration. It applies to all Bj7 accounts and product categories.
Eligibility and Initiation
Any registered Bj7 player may apply for Self-Exclusion. The application must be sent by email from the address used at registration and must include:
- A clear written request to apply Self-Exclusion.
- The chosen exclusion period (for example 3 months, 6 months, 12 months, or 3 years).
The Self-Exclusion is voluntary. Bj7 will implement the exclusion upon receipt of a valid request.
Exclusion Periods
Available periods are 3 months, 6 months, 12 months, or 3 years. The exclusion period begins on the date Bj7 confirms receipt of the request. If the selected period exceeds three years, Bj7 reserves the right to terminate the user’s registration and return funds held in the user’s Personal Account, subject to the withdrawal terms applicable at that time.
Effect During Exclusion
During the Self-Exclusion period, access to the Personal Account and Bj7 services is blocked. The user will not receive advertising or promotional materials during the period.
Termination and Restoration
Termination of Self-Exclusion is not possible before the expiry of the period chosen by the user. Bj7 will not consider requests to restore access before that expiry. Restoration after the expiry requires a new written request from the user after the period ends. There is no automatic reactivation of the user’s account at the conclusion of the exclusion.
Post-Exclusion Responsibilities
Self-Exclusion is a voluntary measure to limit gambling activity. During Exclusion, the user undertakes not to attempt to regain access to Bj7 services. After restoration, the user should exercise Responsible Gambling practices and comply with Bj7 policies continuing beyond the exclusion period.
Data Protection and Communications
All Self-Exclusion requests and related communications are processed in accordance with Bj7 privacy practices. Communications are conducted via the registered contact details and protected by industry-standard security measures.
Minor Protection
Participation in gambling is prohibited for individuals under 18. The Self-Exclusion mechanism is available to adults to safeguard against underage exposure.
